I think I would too. I’m never anywhere that I could use the power of the V8, that SC V6 looks like a ton of fun at more sane speeds.

Let’s not go trying to bring reason into this! Lol

I like the v6 sound just fine, and wouldn’t mind having one of my own in the stable... but LS all the things is a generally accepted truth in motoring. 

Though fwiw, if one were inclined to modify a v8 for more power it might actually be cheaper and easier (hp per $ anyway) to LS swap it rather than spend tons of money trying to forge new ground modding the jag v8. (not that I know anything about the jag v8 per-se, but as an 8cyl bmw owner I have found there aren’t a lot of people adding power to them, and the ones who are charge a uuge premium for those products and services.)

Not that any sensible person would actually do such a thing.

... Now if the Jags stock engine were blown, on the other hand...

Nah, that 6 sounds the business. I love it! Probably more reliable and definitely more economical than the v8 too. Damn fine looking automobile too. Surprised they’re not selling more of them, because they really are attractive vehicles.
